  • B. Arch – Bachelor of Architecture
  • Additional Degree in Finance/ Management/ Construction Management

Job Description:
  • Managing multi civil projects
  • Prepare Cost estimation of project compiling the cost of Materials, Manpower, Equipment, Subcontracts, Overheads etc. required for the execution of the project.
  • Review on enquiry document, scope of work, project specifications, Preparation/ Compilation of material take- off based on drawings, data- sheets, basic design, standards etc.
  • Liaise with Engineering Consultants for the pre-bid engineering works including material take-off, specification, Engineering Man hours, Method statements etc.
  • Maintain good relationships with the client, consultant and develop a professional team to establish the company (BEC) as the contractor of choice.
  • Facilitate project planning, costing, scheduling & execution.
  • Coordinate, supervise and report about construction work activities for the entire project.
  • Study and coordinate the architecture, structure and service drawings.
  • Supervision and co-ordination with the contractors and suppliers.
  • Report consumption of various material and accurately estimate balance quantities required.
  • To maintain & follow all safety standards & measures pertaining to site execution works.
  • Maintaining Quality standards in construction materials & construction techniques and to ensure that approved QC Procedures are followed, keeping records of drawings, labour reports, and project documentations.
  • Checking of Bill of quantities and measurements.
  • Responsible for coordination and Execution of works within the parameters of time, cost, quality and productivity.
  • Review and monitor all project execution
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate MIS tools.
  • Handling clients and vendors
  • Administering contract, quality and deliveries
  • Preparation of Bid Documents
  • Maintain schedule standards
  • Overseeing the project and involvement in every aspect of the construction process.
  • Liaise with procurement department for the material/equipment/sub contract prices.
  • Present Bid review package, which includes bid basis, execution plan, strategy analysis, summary cost estimates, financial reports and competitive pricing decisions.
  • Prepare daily measurement sheets of work done, keep the record of actual daily manpower deployed and submit it daily to Labour Billing/QS department.
  • Maintain a daily diary to record daily planning, achievement and concerns, if any. Support fortnightly preparation and payments of all vendors’ bills (labour) and QS department for Running Account bills.
  • People Management lead, motivate, coach and develop his team members and labour. Ensure monthly reconciliation of materials and labour by minimizing wastages of material and improving productivity.
  • Ensure safety standards as defined in approved safety plan.
  • Maintain process and ensure product quality levels are achieved as defined and specified.
  • Raise timely requirements of material for his scope of work.
  • Inspecting work undertaken by contractors.
  • Participate in innovation and culture of continual improvement.
  • On time and on budget completion of the project
  • Monitor progress, provide financial control and ensure project quality
  • Receive site progress measurement data and prepare progress reports.
  • Update the management regarding the process and costs of the project
  • Field/verify reported progress.
  • To provide technical advice on cost optimization.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Preparation of progress analysis.
  • Evaluate project progress as per planned v/s actual and analysis of financial impact of the same willing to come up with innovative ideas and change process in case of any inefficiency
  • Responsible for developing design capabilities in the unit and preparation of design basis report and develop design concepts
  • To provide technical advice on cost optimization.

Desired Candidate:
  • Past work experience with PMC organizations would be an added advantage.
  • 4+ years of experience of direct management of large and complex real estate and Consultancy projects with responsibility of site analysis, budget control estimating, design and construction coordination and project scheduling.
  • Strong planning and ability to communicate with workers, contractor, architect and owner.
  • Experience in Quantity Surveyor work
  • Experience in the BOQ of Residential, Housing, Commercial, Institutional, Hospitality, Industrial, Various Competition Projects & other Buildings.
  • Experience in reviewing tender document and understand scope of works clearly.
  • Knowledge in Billing, Tenders, estimation, pricing, commercial and technical documentation related to tenders.
  • Knowledge of Preparing Analysis of Rates.
  • Experience in preparing preliminary Estimate of Building for estimation purpose
  • Ability to work in team with a professional attitude.
  • Experience in Infrastructure project execution & management
  • Sound judgment on the construction process and on quality of the materials used
  • Ability to travel for Site visits and analysis
  • Good computer skills in MS office, word, excel, AutoCAD, power point and other daily use software
  • Knowledge of MS Projects
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in being a company’s representative and spokesperson
